(v) Vizag Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC):- In compliance of the commitment made by the Central Government in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2014, it was decided by the Department of Economic Affairs, Government of India that Asian Development Bank (ADB) which had been getting a feasibility study done in r/o East Coast Economic Corridor (ECEC) will also take up the study of VCIC as Phase I of ECEC.

(5) वाइज़ैग चेन्नई औद्योगिक गलियारा (वीसीईसी) : आंध्र प्रदेश पुनर्गठन अधिनियम, 2014 में केन्द्र सरकार द्वारा की गई प्रतिबद्धता के अनुपालन में, भारत सरकार के आर्थिक मामलों के विभाग द्वारा यह तय किया गया था कि एशियाई विकास बैंक जो व्यवहार्यता अध्ययन ईस्ट कोस्ट इकोनॉमिक कॉरिडोर (ईसीईसी) के लिए करवाता आ रहा था वो अब ईसीईसी के पहले चरण के तौर पर वीसीआईसी का भी ऐसा अध्ययन करवाएगा।

62. The trilateral agreement using Chabahar-Zahedan-Zaranj as a corridor will be a game changer for regional connectivity, especially for Afghanistan, which can find an assured and reliable alternative access to India via sea.

विदेश मंत्री श्रीमती सुषमा स्वराज : देखिये जहां तक पाकिस्तान - चाइना आर्थिक कॉरिडोर का सवाल है, हर बार जब पीओके में कोई गतिविधि होती है तो हम उनके राजदूत को बुला कर यहा अपना विरोध दर्ज करातेहैं लकिन इस बार हमने केवल वहीं तक ही नहीं रखा, चीन के राजदूत को बुला कर प्रोटेस्ट दर्ज़ कराया, जो हमारे राजदूत वहां हैं उन्होंने खुद चीनी नेतृत्व के सामने विरोध दर्ज़ कराया लेकिन जब प्रधानमंत्री वहां गए तब उन्होंने इस बात को बहुत दृढ़ता से कहा और इस मुद्दे को बहुत मजबूती से उठाया कि ये जो आपने चाइना पाकिस्तान आर्थिक कॉरिडोर की बात की है कि उसमे भी खास तौर पर पीओके में जाने की बात की है, ये हमें स्वीकार नहीं है।

67. India's Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) program therefore intends to introduce a number of transformational advances in the way the Indian Railways (IR) organizes itself, constructs infrastructure, and operates its services, enabling it to expand its customer base and market share.

यही कारण है कि भारत के डेडिकेटेड फ़्रेट कॉरिडोर (डीएफ़सी) कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य भारतीय रेल द्वारा अपने इन्फ़्रॉस्ट्रक्चर के निर्माण और सेवाओं के परिचालन के क्षेत्र में अपनाए जाने वाले तरीकों में उल्लेखनीय बदलाव है, जिससे यह अपने ग्राहकों (कस्टमर बेस) और बाज़ार-अंश (मार्केट शेयर) का विस्तार करने में सक्षम हो सके।

68. With regard to the bilateral initiatives taken by India, the recent establishment of the air freight corridor between India and Afghanistan was welcomed as providing fast and assured access to farmers of Afghanistan to the large markets in South Asia and beyond.

भारत द्वारा आरंभ की गई द्विपक्षीय पहल के संबंध में, हाल ही में भारत और अफगानिस्तान के बीच वायु मार्ग ढुलाई गलियारे की स्थापना का स्वागत किया गया ताकि अफगानिस्तान के किसानों को दक्षिण एशिया के बड़े बाजारों तक और उससे आगे भी तेज और आश्वस्त पहुँच दी जा सके।

69. Progress has been made on issues relating to river waters sharing, land boundary, provision of 250 MW of power from India to Bangladesh, facilitation of 24-hour access to Bangladesh nationals through the Tin Bigha Corridor, electrification of Dahagram and Angorpota enclaves, among others.

नदी जल के बंटवारे, भूमि सीमा, भारत से बंग्लादेश के लिए 250 मेगावाट विद्युत की आपूर्ति, तीन बीघा गलियारे के जरिए बंग्लादेशी राष्ट्रिकों के लिए चौबीसों घंटे प्रवेश को सुविधाजनक बनाने, दहाग्राम तथा अंगोरपोटा एन्क्लेवों के विद्युतीकरण इत्यादि कार्यों में भी खासी प्रगति हुई है।

70. Since then, 25 Indian Navy ships have been deployed in the Gulf of Aden to provide point to point escort to merchant vessels passing through the 490 nautical miles(nm) long and 20 nm wide Internationally Recommended Transit Corridor (IRTC) in the Gulf of Aden.

इसके बाद से अदन की खाड़ी में 25 भारतीय नौसैनिक पोतों को तैनात किया जा सका है, जो अदन की खाड़ी में 490 नॉटिकल मील लम्बे और 20 नॉटिकल मील चौड़े अंतर्राष्ट्रीय अनुशंसित परिवहन गलियारे (आईआरटीसी) से गुजरने वाले व्यावसायिक पोतों को एक निश्चित स्थान से दूसरे निश्चित स्थान तक सुरक्षा प्रदान करते हैं।

71. The announcement regarding India’s facilitation of 24-hour access for Bangladesh nationals from the Bangladesh mainland to Dahagram & Angarporta through the Tin Bigha Corridor was made during the visit of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh to Bangladesh on September 06, 2011

06 सितंबर, 2011 को भारत के माननीय प्रधानमंत्री डा0 मनमोहन सिंह की बांग्लादेश यात्रा के दौरान बांग्लादेश के राष्ट्रिकों को तीन बीघा कॉरीडोर के रास्ते बांग्लादेश मुख्यभूमि से दहाग्राम और अंगारपोटा के लिए चौबीसों घंटे आवागमन की सुविधा प्रदान करने की घोषणा की गई थी।

72. * Welcoming the progress achieved in the Smart Community Projects in the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) area such as the Logistics Data Bank project, the Mega Solar Power project in Neemrana, and the Grid Stabilisation project in Gujarat, the two sides instructed relevant authorities to accelerate these smart community projects.

* दिल्ली - मुंबई औद्योगिक कोरिडोर (डी एम आई सी) ने स्मार्ट समुदाय परियोजनाओं जैसे कि लॉजिस्टिक डाटा बैंक परियोजना, नीमराणा में मेगा सोलर पावर परियोजना और गुजरात में ग्रिड स्थिरीकरण परियोजना में हुई प्रगति का स्वागत करते हुए दोनों पक्षों ने संगत प्राधिकारियों को इन स्मार्ट समुदाय परियोजनाओं की गति तेज करने की हिदायत दी।

73. There is a window of opportunity for government and business to take advantage of these favourable conditions, to accelerate the upgradation of our transport networks, build more state of the art airports and seaports, build ten instead of only one high speed rail freight corridors, extend mass public transportation networks to all major towns and cities, and most of all, solve the power problem once for all.

सरकार और व्यवसाय जगत के पास इन उपयुक्त स्थितियों का लाभ लेते हुए अनेक कार्य करने के महत्वपूर्ण अवसरमौजूद हैं: हमारे परिवहन नेटवर्क के उन्नयन में तेजी लाना; अधिक से अधिक संख्या में आधुनिक हवाई अड्डों और पत्तनों का निर्माण करना; एक उच्च गति रेल फ्रेट गलियारे की जगह ऐसे दस गलियारों का निर्माण करना; सार्वजनिक परिवहन नेटवर्क का विस्तार सभी महत्वपूर्ण शहरों और नगरों में करना; और सबसे महत्वपूर्ण हमेशा के लिए बिजली की समस्या का समाधान करना।
